SUMMARY
We are looking for a highly collaborative and results-driven People Generalist to join CBRE’s Advisory People field team. The People Generalist role supports the operations of the People field team, including the administration of People policies, processes, and programs, as well as plays an integral role in key initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strong multi-tasker, with an ability to juggle multiple competing priorities at once.
DUTIES
Partners with People leadership on key People initiatives and projects that will impact the US Advisory segment including creation of presentations, liaising with Centers of Excellence (COE), and providing data analytics to measure progress.
Partner with People Business Partners on administration of various activities support such as tracking of leaves of absence, survey processing, people service center escalation resolutions, responding to unemployment claims.
Assist People Business Partners with employee escalations that have been routed to the COE (Service Center, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits) by serving as a liaison to effective and timely resolution.
Provides advice and guidance on the interpretation of People policies and procedures as they relate to employees and CBRE’s objectives.
Prepares routine and ad-hoc reports for review by People field team
Oversees transactions related to status changes for existing employees and terminations of employees, as well as some off-boarding activities.
Communicates company and government rules, regulations and procedures and the need for compliance to management and employees.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university and a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
· Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation preferred.
· Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret various types of business documents including complex employment contracts and other legal documents. Ability to effectively respond to inquiries or from clients, co-workers, supervisor and/or management.
· Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills required. Knowledge of PeopleSoft.
