The Host mobile application is leveraged by employees of the world’s largest corporations and is helping them navigate the new work environment.  What’s the best place to do my work today?  Who can help me to be effective today?  How will I execute that work? 

We are seeking an experienced Product Management Director to set a clear product strategy, own the creation of the product roadmap, drive an agile execution with our clients, and inspire our team members via great storytelling. 

He/she must have the ability to attract and recruit the industry’s best talent, and simultaneously have the operational chops to ensure that we build and support compelling, customer-oriented experiences in an iterative methodology. Success in the role requires an innovative mind, a proven track record of supporting new consumer-facing software products, rigorous analytical skills, and a passion for creating market-leading software for millions of customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Defines product initiatives to push product strategy and OKRs forward. Independently defines success metrics.
Works with Senior leader counterparts to ensure awareness, alignment, and readiness of feature releases. Communicates feature success or failure.
Helps refine process strategy for implementation into their own teams.
Represents the product with Senior leaders and is the main interaction point with those leaders and engineering leaders across the organization.
Works with engineering team leads to provide final say on project prioritization. Helps align on staffing assignment and product vision.
Understands broader company data including data outside the product space. Understands how those data sources work together and answers complex business questions. Can leverage that data to look into the future and set goals.
Leads the product team and acts as a cultural example for the team. Assists in ensuring high team morale.
Defines team structure and hiring of their own team members. Manages team level budgets.
Responsible for coaching team members on a week to week basis
Responsible for ensuring team members have access to and are executing the appropriate training

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree
10+ years experience creating software solutions
At least 7 years’ experience leading product management teams
Working in an agile work environment, preferred
Experience in B2B SaaS, preferred
